You gotta stand up and be counted,
Don’t you stay at home again and drift away,
this apathy has got you blinded
You’ll regret that in, regret that in the end.
. . .
Give me your ears,
But don’t let the dreamers down,
Cause you are not welcome now in the wasteland,
Give me your ears,
But don’t let the dreamers down,
Cause you are not welcome,
. . .
in the wasteland,
You’ve found the key, so clear the gate,
The time has come to leave this place,
You have a chance to take the wheel,
and give your voice to something real,
Don’t turn around, don’t turn around,
Cause they’re emptying, they’re emptying the nest
. . .
Sirens sounding, the atmosphere is getting thin,
A fever forming, you hope that they will let you in,
And I know, I know,
They will leave you in the cold,
They will leave you in the cold,

I remember in my childhood near a village there was a place full of dead trees, red and dead from all the chemicals that were dumped into the nearby bay from the chemical plant. That's exactly the vibes I get from this effort, similar in story or not. Morbid! But hopefully a wake up call for some as well. Aleksei Tepljakov
