Open up your eyes,
The day is passing by,
All you want to know is where the ivy grows
to free you from your vices,
You try to navigate,
Drift the other way,
Soon you’ll get to know the ivy’s overgrown,
admit you need direction
. . .
Go toward the lighthouse in the mist,
Don’t go back on your reason,
The immortal gift of the abyss,
Is far from all your demons,
. . .
A voice out in the hall,
Waiting for your call,
Leading you astray, struggling to change,
so go back to your vices,
The powder in your wine,
The mirror cuts a line,
No colour in your cheeks, sleeping through the week,
Is this all you needed?
. . .
It’s obvious that you yearn for a new day rising,
—
You are changing,
You are changing,
You are changing,

I remember in my childhood near a village there was a place full of dead trees, red and dead from all the chemicals that were dumped into the nearby bay from the chemical plant. That's exactly the vibes I get from this effort, similar in story or not. Morbid! But hopefully a wake up call for some as well. Aleksei Tepljakov
