If I write a note,
Would it find a way to you,
If i bottled it up and threw it to the waves,
Would it ever make it through,
We gave up the ghost,
As soon as our trust became abused,
We started to see, there’s a warning sign ahead,
And nobody knows, who can save our souls
. . .
Cause only a chancer would chance this,
That is the cross we have to bear,
That only a chancer would chance this,
Lead us all to despair,
When you don’t even care,
bout a thing that you’ve done,
. . .
So cover your ears,
For I am the bearer of bad news,
We sail un-commanded, the hull is collapsing
there’s little we can do,
But if we align,
We could turn and overthrow them all,
Clear up the mess they left behind,
Nobody knows, how to save our souls
. . .
Clouds start to clear, just as morning calls,
we lay rest to our fears in the eye of the storm,
Take a week holiday, that’s a chancer’s call
there’s a towering wave, on the edge of the storm,
We watch you go, We watch you go,
. . .
Look deep in yourself, you won’t find anybody else here left to blame,
no man is an island,
Look after yourself, put all your personal agendas on the shelf,
they’ll fall, they all fall down

I remember in my childhood near a village there was a place full of dead trees, red and dead from all the chemicals that were dumped into the nearby bay from the chemical plant. That's exactly the vibes I get from this effort, similar in story or not. Morbid! But hopefully a wake up call for some as well. Aleksei Tepljakov
